Two hickeys, six countries, and five hundred dollars

2: When I woke up and groggily wafted from my plane to the women's bathroom at the Tampa Bay Airport yesterday morning, I noticed that I have two hickeys on my neck--one on either side of my throat, both in the front. What a great look for visiting relatives! Luckily grandpa seems not to have noticed, but mom has my number.
6: I will DEFINITELY be visiting six countries within the next calendar year: Israel in December with Birthright, France, Hungary & the Czech Republic in the summer with my family, Germany in the late summer to see Bernd, and the U.K. in the fall to study abroad.
500: Frustrated by the lack of shopping opportunities in my life, I just spent $400 at Free People and $100 at Delia*s. And I still haven't addressed my main wardrobe problems--except the Black Pants Problem.

The Land of Milk and Honey: EPISODE TWO

Emily (my traveling companion) and I are both registered with the parent organization and the trip provider, and today we coordinated our top trip dates: Dec 12-23 and Dec 13-24. Our choices are very limited as (1) her finals week ends on 14 Dec, (2) she has to be home for Christmas (disgusting halfie slime), and (3) I have to be in New York on 5 Jan. Somehow we managed. Hopefully the fine people at Israel Outdoors will be kind enough to find room for us in one of the three we selected--the fact that two of them are designated for people aged 22-26 notwithstanding. Emily and I can play with grown-ups... I think.

P.S. Happy Patriot Day guyz!

Blind search for free travel

How can I travel abroad for free? It seems I can only play the Jew card once, and my parents don't seem too hot on footing the bill for my frivolous extra-continental plans. Do people get internships or, like, pay for these things on their own with real money got from real jobs? Where do people get internships and real jobs? What is that? Are they hiding? I think they must be, because all I can see are boring ones and I think they just don't need to hide because they are already rendered invisible by their own DULLNESS.
What sorts of careers allow people to travel all over the place and still pay well? Are they interesting? Do you know anyone who has them? Do these people exist? Does anyone like his job? Does a fairy wand wave when worked? WWWW? WWWWWWWW? I could be a pirate. Or a COWBOY.
